1-2-1 Tuition

A 1-2-1 tuition day is a great way of improving your wildlife and landscape photography. Spending a day on location with Andrew, you will learn about the art and craft of photography, composition, light and exposure, filtration and much more. For wildlife photography, you will also learn about fieldcraft and how to approach wildlife without causing any interference or disturbance. Whatever your level of experience, from complete beginner to experienced photographer, Andrew will tailor your day to your individual expertise and requirements. A 1-2-1 tuition day can be run for individual photographers or, for those photographers who already know each other and wish to share the day and work together as a small group, up to three photographers. Andrew is an experienced tutor and as well as running his own 1-2-1 tuition leads photography tours and workshops for Naturetrek, who operate the largest selection of professionally organised, expert-led wildlife holidays and tours in the world. Andrew has a very friendly and relaxed approach to teaching which will ensure that you will enjoy your time with him as well as getting the full learning potential of the day.

Description

Prior to the 1-2-1 tuition day, Andrew will discuss your experience and requirements with you and design a day to suit you.

The day itself will consist of at approximately eight hours instruction. Location(s) can be discussed with Andrew in advance or you can leave it entirely up to him to decide where you will go.

At the start of the day, you will meet Andrew for introductions and a short briefing to go through the day. When you will meet will depend on the time of year. After the briefing you will head out into the field and photograph until dusk. During Summer when the days are long, there may be a short break in the middle of the day. During winter when the days are short, your day with Andrew may include both a dawn and dusk shoot.
