Outdoor Photography - Svalbard: True North

The latest edition of Outdoor Photography (Edition 321) includes an article I was commissioned to write on photographing landscapes and wildlife in Svalbard in the Arctic.

For many years, I have wanted to travel to Svalbard and to spend time in the High Arctic. I have now been incredibly fortunate to have been on two expeditions onboard MS Virgo, spending long days watching and photographing the Arctic landscapes and wildlife that calls it home. The article is illustrated with images from my trips to the Arctic including the image of a polar bear below that was made from a Zodiac inflatable boat of the North West coast of Svlabard.
