New Wildlife Photography Tours
Having worked as a wildlife photography tour and workshop leader for two of the UK’s largest wildlife tour operators, I have decided to run my own wildlife photography tours and workshops.
In 2024, I ran my first wildlife photography tour when I led a group of photographers on an expedition to Svalbard, working with WildPhoto Travel. I am now working on, and planning more tours, to the Arctic.
Over the years that I have worked as a professional wildlife photographer, I have travelled to Botswana, Kenya, South Africa and Zambia to photograph the wildlife in these countries. This has led me to decide that, from 2028, I will lead my own bespoke wildlife photography tours to Africa. These tours are designed to offer the very best of African wildlife photography. Each tour will be limited to six photographers, plus myself. By using two vehicles, each photographer will have their own row of seats to photograph from, allowing them to photograph unimpeded on both sides of the vehicle. I will sit in one of the vehicles next to the local guide/driver so I can ensure that the vehicles are in the best places for photography. We will also make use of some of the very best purpose built wildlife photography hides in these countries.
For your peace of mind, these tours to Africa will be booked through a UK company that specialises in tours to Africa. The company is fully bonded for flight-inclusive packages through ATOL and for land only arrangements (without flights) through ABTOT. This means that your money is protected when booking one of these tours.
Full details of these tours will be released soon. If you are interested in joining me on one of these tours, drop me an email at andrew@andrewmasonphoto.com and I will add you to the waiting list.
All the best.
Andrew
