BBC News - Wildlife photographed 'reclaiming' former mining site

Little owl perched on an abandoned building at the former Chatterley Whitfield coal mine.

I am really pleased that the BBC have published an article on my work documenting how nature has started to reclaim the former coal mine at Chatterley Whitfield in Stoke-on-Trent. I spent several years photographing at this now abandoned coal mine, recording the natural rewilding that is occurring on this site. The article has a selection of my images of the wildlife that can now be found on the site of this former coal mine.
